New Brunswick Lotteries
Although operated by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Casino City considers VLTs to be a casino and card room gaming activity.
In April 2010, the responsible gaming policy for the VLT program was reformed. Changes included restriction of VLTs to age-controlled environments, a 50% reduction of the number of VLT sites in New Brunswick (from 625 sites to a maximum of 300 sites) and a 25% reduction of the number of VLTs in the province (from 2,650 to a maximum of 2,000 terminals). There were also changes to the number of VLTs allowed at each site and the implementation of an annual registration fee.
