Florida Gaming Corporation reports that Miami-Dade County voters approved the operation of up to 2000 Class III Las Vegas style slot machines at Miami Jai-Alai.

Calder Race Course and Flagler Dog Track and Sports Entertainment Center have initiated a formal request before the Governmental Operations and Environment Committee of the Miami-Dade County Commission for a referendum to be held allowing Miami-Dade voters to consider the inclusion of slot machines at the three existing pari-mutuel facilities in Miami-Dade County.

Sungold International Holdings Corp.’s subsidiary Horsepower Broadcasting Network International Ltd., and Flagler Greyhound Track have entered into a five year Horsepower ARA license agreement.
