UNITE HERE's Culinary Workers Union Local 226 has written to the Nevada Gaming Commission and Control Board expressing concern over Deutsche Bank's suitability to retain its ownership share in Station Casinos.

At the end of its first year of operation, the casino is cut off from Strip walk-in traffic and is rapidly losing money.

The new Clique Hospitality restaurant group, owned by former Light Group owner Andy Masi, plans to open eight restaurants in Las Vegas and California, starting with Salute in western Las Vegas.

The casino operator hopes its online gaming component, through its 57 percent ownership in Ultimate Gaming, will soon contribute to the bottom line as well.
