The Las Vegas-based company said its corporate expenses grew 128.3 percent as it successfully fought a Colorado casino referendum, hired a new CEO, reconstituted its board and worked to “remediate” a recent data breach.

Las Vegas-based Affinity, which owns 11 casinos in four states, is not publicly traded but has publicly held debt.

In a statement Monday, Affinity said the company reached agreement with its lenders over a possible default on a portion of its $382.7 million in long-term debt.

Affinity said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission last week it expected a default in its “senior secured credit agreement due to non-compliance with certain financial covenants.”

Connecticut-based hedge fund Silver Point Capital and private equity firm Z Capital Partners of Illinois used similar language to describe reconstituting Affinity’s board.

Affinity’s total revenue for the year fell to $390.5 million in 2013, according to the latest earnings report.

Ross, 49, has headed Affinity since the Las Vegas-based company was founded in December 2010 following the bankruptcy reorganization of Herbst Gaming.

During the latest quarter, Affinity completed the renovation of Terrible's into the Silver Sevens.
