The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe has declared a state of emergency and has notified the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort that it intends to issue an order of closure effective 17 March 17.

del Lago Resort & Casino’s employees will be paid for this upcoming two-week period and have been encouraged to seek medical attention if they experience symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

In coordination with the New York State Gaming Commission, the venue will temporarily close beginning at 8 p.m. today, March 16, until further notice.

Hamburg Gaming will temporarily close the venue beginning at 8 p.m. on 16 March, until further notice.

For public health and safety reasons, the three casinos will temporarily close starting today at 5 p.m. There is no timeline for reopening at this time.

By order of the New York governor, the two properties suspended operations effective 16 March, tentatively through the end of the month.

The New York resort will close starting tonight at 8 p.m. Employees impacted will receive two weeks of pay during the suspension.
