Choctaw Nation Chief Gary Batton released a statement in response to the Oklahoma Supreme Court unanimously affirming Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s binding legal opinion that federal law bars the state from prosecuting tribal members who hunt and fish on their own reservations.
