In what should be the final month before online sports betting launches, Pennsylvania’s retail sportsbooks attracted $36.8 million in April bets.

The state's table games revenue for April 2019 was $77,448,426, a 3.7% increase compared to April of last year when revenue was $74,667,615.

According to a Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board report, January’s gross revenue from slot machines at the 12 casinos was $179,842,151, a 1.15% increase in revenue compared to the $177,795,127 generated in January 2018.

Vaccaro, a sports wagering luminary, will advise and further develop the Pittsburgh sportsbook, which opened at the North Shore casino in December 2018.
