Barbadian Lotteries

The Barbados Lottery was established in 1990 and was at one time operated by the Barbados Turf Club.

In 2006, GTECH (now International Game Technology, or IGT) was awarded an 18-year management contract to operate the Barbados Lottery, consolidating three separate lotteries into a single national entity. That agreement remains in effect under IGT’s Caribbean operations.

Foreign lotteries are not permitted to operate in Barbados; however, the operators administer a Caribbean lottery that is available to Barbados citizens as well as citizens of other countries in the region.

The Barbados Lottery offers a variety of traditional lottery games and scratch tickets.
