District of Columbia Lotteries

The District of Columbia Lottery began in August 1982. The lottery is overseen by the DC Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board. It offers local and multi-state draw games, keno and scratch tickets. The proceeds from the lottery are contributed to the District's general fund.

In December 2020, the DC Lottery launched internet lottery games to registered players located within the district.
