Lebanese Casino and Card Room Gaming

The only casino in Lebanon was established in 1959 and is located just outside the country's capital, Beirut. War and national conflict caused the casino to operate intermittently from the mid-1970s through the 1980s, and the casino was closed from 1989-2006. The casino operates under a customized concession agreement with the Lebanese government that requires patrons to register their income levels and nationalities upon entrance.
