Mescalero Apache Tribe properties close their doors again

After reopening on 3 July, the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino and Casino Apache in New Mexico have been closed until further notice.

Table games and the the poker room remain closed at the New Mexico property while the reconfigured casino floor has every other slot machine turned off in order to adhere to social distancing standards.

Mescalero Apache Tribe announced in a letter from President Gabe Aguilar that "restrictions" will remain in place, including the temporary closure of Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino and Casino Apache Travel Center.

Inn of the Mountain Gods and Casino Apache will temporarily close

The closure will be effective 19 March at 11:59 p.m. in the continuing effort to protect the health and wellness of guests and staff and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
