Arizonian Charitable Gaming

Arizona allows charitable gaming to be run for the benefit of nonprofit organizations, although the nonprofit may not necessarily operate the games. Examples of charitable gaming are Monte Carlo nights, bingo, Texas Hold'em poker tournaments, poker runs and 50-50 raffles.

A bill passed in 2010 allows charitable organizations to sell instant games issued by the state lottery. Under the law, the state can choose to keep up to 15% of all ticket sales.
